Diesel Injection issues are relatively common on many cars and can be difficult to diagnose and repair without specialist knowledge and equipment. Mike and his team pride themselves on staying up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and have developed specialist knowledge in fuel injection systems, carburettors, ECU repairs, electronics, engine tuning, diagnostics and emissions testing.

GTB particularly specialises in testing and reconditioning diesel injectors and pumps for all makes of vehicles. Mike comments, “We offer in-vehicle testing and bench testing using specialist tools such as our brand new fully computerised Merlin S4000 MK2 unit, to test, repair and code injectors of all brands including; Bosch, Denso, Delphi, Siemens, Continental and PD.”

Mike explains that many injector fail because of wear, but also incorrect fitment and contaminated fuel can be major issues. He says, “Injectors operate at extreme pressure and are engineered and calibrated to exceptionally fine tolerances. This makes them susceptible to contaminants, so it imperative that a very high standard of cleanliness is observed when fitting and handling common rail units.”
