DuPont Refinish is introducing a special new tinter to add to its Cromax mixing colours range. 1725W Special Violet will allow refinishers to perfectly match an extra seven specific OEM colours, including Lexus colour 1G5 Frosty Opaline Grey, and Porsche’s C34 Millennium Special Violet.

The new tinter contains a colorstream pigment - Viola Fantasy from Merck – which enables unique and subtle colour shifts from violet to green and will allow DuPont Refinish bodyshops to respond instantly to OEM special effect colour trends.

Lindsey Swaine, Brand Marketing co-ordinator DuPont Refinish, says, “by providing our bodyshops with an increasing range of colours, as quickly as possible, we stay ahead of the game, and create favourable conditions for increased bodyshop productivity and profitability.”

The 2010-3 edition of the ColorQuick Pro and ColorNet Pro CD Rom, have been updated with the new tint mixing information. Refinishers can also access all colour formulas, including this new tint, and Safety Data Sheets on the new colour retrieval website accessed through www.dupontrefinish.co.uk.
