Brain Bee was at Equip Auto in Paris with its wide selection of advanced diagnostic systems and equipment. Attracting special interest were the company’s tyre pressure monitoring equipment solutions, which are currently being introduced to Ireland by Irish distributor Diagnostic Solutions.
The B-TP 1000 is a new wireless scan tool, specifically for maintaining sensor valves on vehicle Tyre Pressure Monitoring Systems. The compact tool aims to simplify garage work and enable the car repairer to immediately solve TPMS problems.
The tool is supported by an extensive database of information, which means it is suitable for use on both original equipment valves and on universal, programmable, valves.
The unit is designed to provide programming power which is suited to the specific characteristics of the valve, to guarantee maximum programming efficiency and speed and with its enhanced internal structure, it enables the valve to be woken up quickly and effectively using high-power circuits.
The B-TP 1000 also offers fast start up, turning on in five seconds and being operative on the car in less than thirty. It has a 5-hour battery life and a mains plug in option.
TPMS are now common on many cars and have been obligatory on all new European registrations since November 2014.
