Extreme SUV aimed at US school runs and soccer moms

The SUV is an all too common sight on the morning school run, with many parents believing that this type of vehicle offers better protection for their children. US manufacturer Rezvani has taken this theory to the ultimate extreme with its new Vengeance model.

Perhaps only in gun obsessed America would a driver find the need for a vehicle with features that include; electrified door handles, ultra bright strobe lights, bulletproof glass and even wing mirrors that shoot pepper spray. The company website also says the vehicle can produce a “James Bond like” smoke screen and detect electromagnetic pulses from nuclear weapons. The options are almost unlimited with the price tag rising from a mere $285,000 right up to a cool half a million for a fully loaded gas guzzling version.

Other models from California based Rezvani Motors include the Beast and the Tank. However, perhaps the most frightening thing about the Vengeance is that it is not being aimed at those who like to play at being a weekend soldier, or those prepping for the end of civilisation, but school run mums and dads.  Even more sad, is that it seems that many over protective paranoid parents cannot wait to extract their vengeance on other road users.
