Compound manufacturer and refinishing expert Farécla is expanding capacity at its UK headquarters in Hertfordshire following double-digit sales and profits growth in the first 9 months of 2013.

David Crossley, Supply Chain Manager, at Farécla, said, “We have invested in new double-depth warehouse racking and installed a mezzanine floor above our bottling hall. This gives us an overall 60% increase in our warehousing capacity and goes beyond coping with the current positive development in our business allowing us to increase efficiency and positioning us well to manage forecast future growth.” He added, “We’ve also hired two additional warehouse operatives specifically to improve accuracy and speed of order turnaround for our distributors, so it’s a positive development for customers as well as our operations team.”
