Finol Oils Limited, distributors of TOTAL products in Ireland, have been announced as proud sponsors of Andrew Slattery's new Peugeot 208 R2, which made its debut in the 2013 Irish Tarmac Championships at Abbeyleix. The Peugeot 208 R2 was unveiled in all its glory wearing the TOTAL branding to an excited gathering of admirers.

Finol's Directors, Dominick Purcell & Sean Holland said "We are delighted to be associated with Andrew Slattery and his Peugeot 208 R2 in what we believe is an ideal sponsorship for us. TOTAL has long been associated with Peugeot and Peugeot Sport, who have achieved tremendous status globally through Motor Racing over many decades. This sponsorship will undoubtedly help us create further awareness of our brand here in Ireland. We would like to wish Andrew every success for the coming season in the Irish Tarmac Championships."

Andrew and co-driver Shaun Forde used Abbeyleix to set pace and gain confidence in the new machine, before they compete in five further events this year.

Andrew Slattery said, "The car only arrived in Ireland on Wednesday 7th February and we have since spent our time testing it and setting it up to our liking on Irish tar. We have had the great pleasure of working with Waterford man, Craig Breen, recently contracted to Peugeot Sport and who has given me great advice and plenty of tips. The sponsorship from Finol Oils Limited is much appreciated and I wish to thank them sincerely for their complete support. We are very much looking forward to the challenge."

Finol Oils Ltd has been marketing and distributing lubricants for the past three decades to Automotive, Commercial, Agricultural, Marine and Industrial markets in Ireland. The company has grown from strength to strength since 1977 and today offers over 2000 products to its customers.
