First Line secures GOST-R approval

First Line, one of the leading aftermarket suppliers of steering and suspension components has gained the prestigious Russian GOST-R approval for their matching original equipment products.

GOST-R certification is a pre-requisite for supplying into the Russian market and securing this approval is a major achievement as it is required for each individual product rather than an overall product group.

First Line says the approval is another major endorsement of the quality of its components range. Commenting on the approval, Dan Joyner, First Line's managing director said, "GOST-R approval significantly adds to the reputation of our products as they each have to reach the Russian standards on their individual merits." He added, "We will not differentiate between individual countries when it comes to packaging, so we'll use the GOST-R logo on all of our packaging because of the universal credibility the approval provides."

The GOST-R approval forms part of First Line's ambition to grow its export sales, which also includes its appearance at Automechanika aftermarket trade fairs in Russia in August and Frankfurt in September.
