The new Ford Ka will be launched at the Paris Motor Show in October, a full 12 years since the first Ka was introduced. The new model sticks to the same basic philosophy as its predecessor, offering economical but fashionable motoring, aimed mainly at first time car buyers. The bubble like lines of the original have now been replaced with a stronger “chunkier” look, largely due to meeting new safety requirements.
Ford appears confident that the new Ka can match the impressive sales figures of the 1996 model, which reached the 1.4 million unit production mark.
