Garages and Bodyshops benefit from Toyota TradePro bonus

The supply of genuine quality parts at competitive prices has seen the TradePro Network of Toyota Dealers prosper so far during 2022 with parts sales up 26% year on year. Key to this has been maintaining excellent parts availability, something that Toyota has worked very hard to achieve, while certain other parts suppliers have struggled with supply and logistics challenges.

Arthur Power, Area Sales Manager for Toyota Ireland Aftermarket, comments, “At present garages and bodyshops can sometimes struggle to get the parts they need in a reasonable time and at the right price. Through careful parts demand planning and everyone in the Toyota distribution and dealer network working together, we have been able to maintain excellent stock availability and keep garages and bodyshops well served.”

Arthur reflects, “2022 has in fact so far been a strong year for our TradePro Network of Toyota Dealers as overall parts sales to the trade have grown 26% driven by a 30% increase in bodywork as well as increases in other areas such as brakes, bulk oil filter sales and diesel injectors.”

As Arthur explains, Toyota Ireland and its dealer network are committed to delivering the best service possible to workshop customers. This is based on the Toyota principle of ‘KAIZEN’ or continuous improvement to provide a consistently high standard of service coupled with competitive pricing and high stock levels.

Arthur adds, “Programmes like the Write-Off Avoidance Scheme have also significantly added to the success. The programme allows a repairer to work with insurers and their Toyota dealer, to use additional parts discounts on qualifying cars, so that they can be safely repaired and kept on the road where they might otherwise be written-off. Crucially this also allows drivers to have their car repaired and not have the inconvenience and serious cost of finding a replacement.”

The TradePro Programme with its additional discounts and special offers has also proved to be a major attraction to garages, especially the 40% off Bulk Oil Filter Purchase promotion. Arthur says, “The programme has allowed garages to increase their profit on many jobs and also provides motorists with the peace of mind of knowing they are getting genuine Toyota parts quality.”
