The Japanparts Group has made another key addition to its ever growing product portfolio with the introduction of an extensive range of fan belts.

Japanparts say the new range of belts features some 1,000 part numbers and offers coverage of 96% of vehicles on the road, including Asian, European and American models. The company also points out that the quality of Japanparts, Ashika and Japko products is guaranteed by the use of first grade materials and by the dimensions in compliance with the specifications provided by the manufacturers, guaranteeing complete interchangeability with the original parts. A 24-month guarantee also makes the belts a valid alternative, equal in quality to the original product.

Fan belts perform vital roles on a vehicle transmitting the crankshaft pulley rotation to various auxiliary functions such as air conditioning compressor, as well as the alternator, and on many vehicles also the power steering pump and the water pump. In the case of fan belt failure, all these accessories can be compromised, with the risk of very serious damage.

Japanparts recommends annual inspection of belts to ensure they are in good condition, with timely replacement when worn.
