SATA gives painters the X-factor

Spray gun specialist SATA has reported a very positive reaction to the introduction of its new SATAjet X 5500 gun that features the new X-nozzle system. Launched last year at Automechanika Frankfurt, SATA says the innovative high-performance spray gun is setting new standards in application quality and efficiency.

SATA believes the new revolutionary X-nozzle system, with its wide range of nozzle sizes, provides a wealth of solutions for the application of latest paint materials. Available in both HVLP and RP application technologies, the gun offers an additional choice between "I" and "O"-nozzle sets. This gives painters the opportunity to choose between two distinct spray fan shapes to meet their requirements.

The gun also offers many other benefits. For example, due to the optimised air distribution inside the spray gun body, in combination with the new design of fluid tip and air cap, the air distribution insert is no longer required, making maintenance more straightforward. In addition SATA have managed to reduce the noise level of this whispering nozzle during application, giving painters the feeling of a much softer and more comfortable coating process.

The gun also offers excellent application flexibility and is able to fully adapt to specific characteristics of a paint system, climatic conditions and desired application method. The SATAjet X 5500 is also very efficient and allows a painter to realise material savings using the same application method as before.

The SATAjet X 5500 is now available from SATA stockists.
