Best known for its parts for Asian and American cars, the Japanparts Group has announced a major extension of its coverage on European vehicles. Under the new strategy called “Yes We Have”. The company says its intention is to continue to reinforce its specialisation, while also implementing applications for European vehicles, in order to become a global reference point.

The first example of this was the addition of shock absorbers for European vehicles. This proved very popular in the European aftermarket and resulted in the opening of a designated warehouse with 13,500 m2 more storage space, which in 2017 alone recorded almost 2 million items sold. There are currently more than 2,000 coded items, with applications for Asian, European and American vehicles, covering 95% the car parc all covered by a 24-month guarantee.

Ambitious strategic plans are now being implemented to further extend the range and distribution capacity of the Group with a new of 53,000 m2 due to open at the Verona headquarters in 2019. This coincides with a plan to extend the European range by more than 30,000 items, divided into 140 product groups. Many of these items are already in the catalogue of the Japanparts, Ashika and Japko brands.
