MAHLE Aftermarket has successfully introduced its new range of air-conditioning compressors under the MAHLE Original brand, covering all top applications.

The launch further cements MAHLE’s expertise in the air-conditioning market, as the company offers HVAC modules and CareMetix cabin filters, which ensure the compressors continue to deliver top performance over a long service life.

Causes of air-conditioning compressor failure are due to incorrect installation, insufficient oil or refrigerants, leaks, damage, contamination and, moisture in the air-conditioning circuit. As a result, the new MAHLE Original range has been launched against several key criteria such as superior cooling performance, durability and reliability, comfort for the driver and, high quality support and service to parts distributors and technicians.

At the heart of the vehicle air-conditioning system, the air conditioning compressor is typically driven by a v-ribbed belt. The compressor circulates the refrigerant in the a/c system and, when operating properly, ensures that the optimal temperature is maintained in the cabin.
