German parts specialist MEYLE has added to its "MEYLE TV" YouTube channel video selection, this time with a presentation on the causes and remedies of excess tyre wear.

The video grabs your attention with some spectacular drifting and then goes on to explain how tyre damage can be caused even by normal conservative driving styles due to incorrect inflation or mechanical issues. For example the video explains the impact  over or under inflated tyres will have on tyre wear and the tyre damage that can be caused by issues such as axle misalignment, defective shock absorbers, defective ABS sensors or other component problems.

The MEYLE Mechanics also explain how to use the MEYLE joint play tester correctly, should the tyres eventually require replacement. Click below to view.

MEYLE and MEYLE HD parts are available from stockist nationwide and are distributed in Ireland by Strongline Autoparts. For more information call 01-462-4631.
