The very popular MechanExpert Technical Roadshows will be back on the road in June with three new dates announced for venues in Limerick, Carlow and Athlone.

These events are targeted at mechanics and garage owners and provides them the opportunity to speak directly with technical experts from the companies that are making many of the parts that they fit. It means they can improve their knowledge and pick up practical hints and tips that can be put to use in their workshop.

The list of the companies attending reads like a who’s who of leading aftermarket brands with Apec, Bosch, Comma, FAG, Gates, Hella, INA, Kilen, KYB, LuK and Mann Filter all featured. The suppliers offer information, practical displays and demonstrations of some of their latest innovations in both components and equipment. There are also short informative presentations on developing vehicle technology.

The events are completely free of charge and are organised at times and locations to fit in most easily with the working day of a garage. Each evening runs from 6.00 pm to 10.00pm and refreshments are provided. The new dates and venues to note are:

• Tuesday June 19th – South Court Hotel, Raheem Roundabout Limerick.
• Wednesday June 20th – Talbot Hotel, Portlaoise Road, Carlow.
• Thursday June 21st – Athlone Institute of Technology, Dublin Road, Athlone.
