Visitors to Automechanika Birmingham will be given the opportunity to see the latest TEXA RCCS ADAS calibration system in action.

RCCS (Radar and Camera Calibration System) is a multifunctional, multi-brand, unit for recalibration of radars and cameras used for advanced driver assistance systems. Such systems are increasing standard on new vehicles and include modules such as autonomous emergency braking, lane departure, pedestrian and road sign recognition and parking assist. However, these systems can only deliver their safety functions if calibrated precisely.

THE TEXA RCCS system is suitable for multi-brand garages, bodyshops and glass replacement specialists. It includes a robust, but portable, frame that is electrically adjustable in height, an adjustment bar, equipped with a sliding reflecting plate and two mirrors, two practical self-centring clamps with an innovative system to be instantaneously fastened to the wheel and laser pointers and graduated scales that ensure the utmost precision when aligning the vehicle.

This allows the technician to position the RCCS easily, with absolute precision and in total safety, in compliance with the requirements of the vehicle manufacturers. The new RCCS system is used in combination with the TEXA IDC5 diagnostic tool to provide a complete multi-brand recalibration solution that can offer a significant boost to a workshops business.

The RCCS system will be on display at the TEXA stand at Automechanika at the NEC Birmingham from June 5th to 7th. The TEXA stand is N105.
