A hugely impressive line-up of key industry figures and automotive experts, will be presenting at AutoInform Live, at the RDS Dublin Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd of April. Frank Massey Frank Massey, one of the most respected automotive technical trainers in the business, will once again be a main presenter at Autoinform Live in Dublin.
For any technician active in the training field, Frank will require no introduction, while first time attendees at the event are bound to be impressed by his practical hands-on demonstrations, expert knowledge and relaxed presenting style.
Frank is one of the UK’s leading experts in vehicle diagnostics, with over 40 year’s industry experience. After training as a technician and becoming the very first independent technician to achieve Master Technician level in the first National accreditation scheme for vehicle technicians, he went on to establish the diagnostics specialist ADS Automotive. Frank also holds the fellowship of the motor Industry (IMI), the highest grade of membership of the motor industry professional association.
Along with the Original Equipment Supplier Aftermarket Association (OESAA), Frank and the ADS team pioneered the original Autoinform Live event and Frank was one of the star presenters at Autoinform Live in Cork three years ago.
At the Dublin event this April, Frank will be tackling Common Rail, a subject of particular interest to Irish technicians. He will deliver an overview of the system, some of the common errors and how to correctly diagnose problems, all with the help of practical on-vehicle demonstrations. He will also be providing useful time saving tips and troubleshooting information.
Clive Atthowe Bringing his diagnostic expertise to Autoinform Live Dublin in April for the first time, will be renowned diagnostic technician Clive Atthowe.
Clive, who runs Clive Atthowe Tuning, is an award winning technician with over 30 years of engine tuning and automotive diagnostic experience. He is a Bosch and ATA qualified master technician, with extensive experience in rolling road diagnostics and fuel injection systems. He is also a frequent poster of training videos and articles online, which provide practical examples of diagnostic solutions. This means he has developed a significant online following.
His presentation at Autoinform Live Dublin is entitled “Diagnostic Process to achieve right first time repairs.” This will look at how garages and technicians can fine tune their diagnostic processes to achieve right first time results. The presentation will cover, using a structured method, so as to not miss basic vehicle issues that are often over looked and in this way save the workshop considerable time and the its customers considerable expense.
Tom Denton Tom Denton will be a new addition to the Autoinform Live presenter line-up, when the event takes place at the RDS in Dublin on April 2nd & 3rd.
Tom is well known in the industry as the founder of the Automotive Technology Academy and a leading automotive author with over 40 years of relevant experience. His presentation at Autoinform Live Dublin is entitled; “What will you be driving in 2032, or will it be driving you?” This will provide an overview of some existing technologies such as EV systems, batteries, fuel cells, self-driving and ADAS as well as offer an insight into what these systems will be like in ten years’ time to drive and the challenges they will present to workshops who have to repair them. He will also speculate on what other future technologies may emerge.
