Mercedes-Benz in Ireland has embarked on what their commercial vehicles sales manager, Fergus Conheady says is ‘a strategic growth review’ of its heavy commercials dealer network.

Being undertaken against a backdrop in which models such as Actros, Antos and Atego are performing exceptionally well, the purpose of the review is to create a new network structure that Fergus Conheady says ‘will be best equipped to grow the brand, develop new sales channels and provide strong countrywide support for all our customers.’

Factors being taken into account in determining what the future structure of its network should be – which may include new appointments – will include geographical considerations, proven expertise within the sector and strong after-sales care.
