Autoparts Express is now a distributor for Philips in Ireland. This new partnership complements the existing distribution arrangements that Philips has for automotive lighting in Ireland with the AD Group.

Autoparts Express was founded by Michael O’Toole in Dublin in 1983 and is owned and operated by Michael and his son Glen. Philips joins a portfolio of top line automotive brands currently distributed by Autoparts, which include SACHS, Lemforder, Trico and the UFI filter brand.

Philips Automotive Lighting UK and Ireland country manager, Ed Savage explains, “Glenn and Michael were amongst many distributors to meet with us at Automechanika. With the range of brands and products they distribute and the fine job they are doing of growing those brands, it soon became clear that Autoparts was a good fit for Philips. Autoparts Express will offer the full range of Philips bulbs to Irish Motorfactors, in regions that Philips have not previously been able to cover.”
