Laser Tools has introduced a new Jump Starter which it says is surprisingly small, but packs a powerful punch. The new Multi-function Jump Starter is an efficient and extremely compact emergency engine starting power pack with many extra features.

The starter has a bright LED to illuminate the work area and a flashing mode emergency beacon. It also features two USB outputs, for charging mobile phones, and other devices. Output 1 is a USB QC 3.0 rated port (3.6V – 12V; 1.5A – 3) and Output 2 is a standard USB port (5V 2.1A).  There is also a Type-C input/output port and a digital voltage display on the cable clamp adaptor. The unit and accessories are supplied in a protective case and can be charged from a suitable USB port on a PC, taking approximately three hours to fully charge.

Also included is a multi-function lead which includes the following connectors; a USB, 2 x Type C and a micro-USB. Port 7 is a Type C input/output port which is used when charging the device but can also output (5V / 3A).

Multi-function Jump Starter   (part number 7405) will start diesel engines up to 3.5 litres and petrol engines up to 4.5 litres. It is available now from Laser Tools stockists.
