Denso has introduced a brand new catalogue for its engine management systems programme. The new publication is the first Denso has produced in this sector of rapidly growing importance and includes details of Denso OE quality ranges covering Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valves, Fuel Pumps, Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensors, and Ignition Coils.
The new Denso Aftermarket EMS Catalogue 2013/14 contains up to date listings on each range. They now comprise 29 MAF Sensor part numbers covering 103 OE part numbers, eight Ignition Coil part numbers covering 30 OE part numbers, six new EGR Valve part numbers covering 39 applications and five new Fuel Pump part numbers, covering 195 applications. The catalogue also includes a clear technical overview, cross reference charts, application tables and a helpful buyer’s guide.
Kevin Peacocke, Assistant Manager at Denso Aftermarket Sales said, “Distributors and garages have been telling us they are in great need of reliable, OE quality Engine Management System (EMS) products. Imitation EMS products simply don’t work, they cause lots of failures and returns. As one of the world’s foremost pioneers and manufacturers of original automotive parts and systems, Denso understand state-of-the-art engine management better than anyone else.” Kevin adds, “This unrivalled expertise means you will find Denso EMS products fitted as original equipment in Audi, Citroen, Fiat, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Jaguar, Lancia, Lexus, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Peugeot, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, Volvo and many other vehicles.”
Denso’s Ignition Coil range includes two types of coil: the Coil on Plug (COP) for dual spark in a distributor-less system, and the Stick Coil which when introduced was the car industry’s first, compact, stick type ignition coil. Both types of coil are small and lightweight, with an innovative compact driving circuit integrated into the top of the coil.
The Denso Fuel Pump range also includes two types, Type C in-tank and Type H38 in-tank, which both feature all new, rather than remanufactured, parts. These pumps operate at higher speeds and draw less current than older style pumps whilst still accurately measuring pressure for a superior performance.
The plug-in hot wire type Mass Air Flow Sensor from Denso is small and lightweight with a control circuit integrated with the top of the air flow meter, so only the small bypass passage containing the sensing element is inserted into the intake air pipe. This compact design minimises the air pressure drop in the intake air pipe and ensures it is easy to install.
The Denso EGR Valve range includes three types of valves: Step motor, Solenoid and the DC motor type. They ensure optimal exhaust gas flow adaptation and reduced NOx emissions for all engine temperatures and driving conditions. Denso EGR valves are extremely durable due to the reduction in the effect of exhaust pressure and exhaust flow, which provides carbon corrosion resistance and longer life.
