MAM has announced a range of enhancements for Autowork Online, its innovative, cloud-based garage management software.

The v163 update, which is now being rolled out to users, adds new functionality and improves user-friendliness. The release also introduces a new 'self service' feature, which provides easy access to additional modules such as vehicle inspections and technical data. The software has adopted a new look, making it more user-friendly for both tablet and PC users. A range of new icons and shortcuts have been added and many search options for customers, parts and tyre information have been created or enhanced.

Users can now enter a desired profit margin for each part, and Autowork Online will calculate the new required part sale price. Prices can be overridden with a manually entered net or vat inclusive price. Customers can also now be assigned a trade/retail selling level, with markons applied to cost prices.

The tyre functionality of the software has been improved, with EU tyre labelling regulations adhered to and labels displayed for up to four tyres simultaneously. A new features is that media codes can now be added to analyse the success of advertising and marketing campaigns, while the software now provides the ability to manage key tags, helping identify keys without having to manually write out labels for every vehicle.
The v163 release also introduces a new 'self service' feature, which allows users to trial and purchase options such as enhanced technical data and MAM's new CarSide app. This is a new mobile and tablet application that adds electronic health check and damage inspection functionality to Autowork Online.

“MAM Software is committed to the ongoing development of our software solutions, ensuring our products consistently meet and exceed the needs of our customers,” said Gavin Sparks, Senior Sales Manager at MAM Software. "This latest release provides a wealth of new features that help garages and workshops increase their productivity and improve their bottom line."
