German motor oil and additive producer, LIQUI MOLY, has announced the appointment of Sina Ataei as its new Head of Media Relations International.
Over the past six years, the graduate journalist has successfully promoted the company’s international web and social media presence as Content Strategy Lead. Now he succeeds the highly valued Dr. Peter Szarafinski, who died unexpectedly last year.
The 34-year-old with Iranian roots follows in big footsteps. He said, “I look forward to my new role in the company a little awestruck but also with pleasure.”

Since 2016, the Ulm-based expert has been contributing his expertise very successfully to the lubricant specialist’s corporate communications. Most recently, he was responsible for the strategic orientation of all online activities as Content Strategy Lead.
Marco Esser, Head of Public Relations and Communications at LIQUI MOLY commented, “Sina Ataei enjoys a high reputation in the company, knows us and our products and has a very high level of expertise in international media work. In addition, his great affinity for digital topics and his passion for the motor sports world, are further plus points.”
