Four lucky NGK Spark Plugs Ireland customers have enjoyed a fantastic trip to iconic car manufacturer Ferrari’s Italian headquarters. They visited the company’s factory and museum at Maranello as part of the celebrations for NGK’s 40th anniversary.

NGK has a long-standing relationship with Ferrari and was official supplier to the Scuderia Ferrari team competing in this year’s FIA Formula One World Championship.

The tour was hosted by Stewart Neill, Irish Area Manager for NGK Spark. He said, “It was a brilliant trip which our customers really enjoyed. We have a long and successful relationship with Ferrari and it was great for our group to have a look behind the scenes and learn more about what is one of the world’s most famous vehicle manufacturers and Formula One racing teams.”

One of the winners, Ian Scott, of Carryduff Autoparts, said, “It was a fantastic experience seeing Ferrari cars being produced up close. I have to thank Stewart and NGK for giving us all the opportunity to visit such a terrific place and when you see the expert and precise engineering involved in producing such a wonderful car, it is not a surprise that NGK is their chosen spark plug.”
