The Nissens Automotive turbo offering of more than 180 part numbers caters for more than 2,000 OE references and provides coverage in excess of 30% of the Irish and UK car parc. The range is designed and manufactured to match original equipment specifications and in the case of selected Nissens electronically controlled turbos, now feature OE technology from HELLA.

The E-actuators used in some of these high quality turbos are supplied by HELLA, a leader in OE electronics and sensor design and manufacture. This follows an agreement between the two companies.

Since the inclusion of turbochargers into the Nissens Automotive programme in 2018, the company says it has pushed the limit of what can be expected of an aftermarket turbo when it comes to quality and performance with the inclusion of HELLA components the latest example.

As an engine’s forced induction system is particularly sensitive and its manufacture demands advanced know-how, extreme attention to detail and precise calibration, traditionally OE products have often been the only viable aftermarket option. However, with this new business relationship, aftermarket professionals have an effective alternative.

HELLA, is a top-tier German OE manufacturer with great knowledge and experience in the electronics field, which ensures Nissens Automotive’s turbos are of the highest precision and proven reliability, amplified by the fact that these models also carry the HELLA logo, making them a unique offering in the aftermarket.

In addition to matching the OE performance standards, Nissens Automotive’s commitment to the aftermarket means that it has also thought about the concerns of the workshops installing the components.

As a result, each replacement turbo is a new, outright purchase unit, that comes without surcharge or the need to return the old unit. When it comes to installation, each is designed to mirror the existing vehicle system and engine layout, and comes with all the important additional parts, like gaskets or stretch-bolts, that are needed to make fitting an easy and straightforward process, as well as comprehensive fitting instructions in both printed and online formats.
