Nugent Coachworks has taken to the road in recent months, doing a demonstration tour of Ireland and the UK, using vehicles built in conjunction with their trade partners. The company believes, that giving prospective customers time to examine vehicles in detail at their own premises, is one of the best ways of making sure that they can fully appreciate the quality craftsmanship and that Nugent vehicles offer “a lot more metal for your money.”
Daventry based Intapart, was one company that took advantage of the Nugent tour. MD Paul Hillier, said, “With all due respect to other recovery vehicles out there, with Nugent I found a very well specified, very well engineered product for far less than I had been quoted elsewhere.”
Intapart, is one of the UK's premier auto salvage and vehicle dismantling specialists run alongside sister company Autogreen, a group of dismantlers set-up to manage end of life vehicle directive requirements. This means that the company’s vehicles face particularly tough demands. Paul Hillier says “When we saw the demonstrator in the flesh we knew it was perfect for our needs. It is well engineered with a great payload and an even better price.” Paul was so impressed that not only was a deal done for the demo vehicle, but he also ordered two similar slide beds which were sourced, designed, built, tested, certified and delivered within six weeks.
Already recognized as one of Ireland’s leading recovery vehicle suppliers, Nugent Coachworks designs, develops and manufactures a range of slide-back bodies and recovery systems. Deck lengths range from 14’ to 27’, with deck capacities from 2,000 to 15,000 kilos and are operated by simple one button on, one button off remote control. A dedicated team of design engineers, also means the company is able to design and manufacture a customised high-spec lorry and turn it around in three weeks.
Nugent Coachworks is continuing its ‘demo’ tour around Ireland and the UK over the coming months. But as Sales Manager Anton Grimes points out, one factor is making progress a little slower than expected. He says "People keep buying the demonstration vehicles before we have completed the ‘demo tour, so the hardest thing has been keeping a demonstrator vehicle available.”
Nugent Coachworks will also be exhibiting at the IFRS Tullamore Show 16-18th July. To find out more about Nugent Coachworks you can visit them online at www.nugentcoachworks.com or call 028-877-58583.
