OESAA gears up for expanded Autoinform LIVE 2016

The Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA), along with leading industry training specialists ADS, will once again be hosting Autoinform LIVE,  the UK’s biggest workshop training event next month. The 2016 event will, as in previous years, be held at the state-of-the-art GTG Academy in Wolverhampton from 19-20 November, and is set to be bigger and better than ever.

This year, to make it even more flexible for the event’s growing number of visitors, the show’s training sessions have been separated into three packages designed to streamline and improve the overall experience.

First time visitors to the event are invited to attend the ‘Green’ band module, which includes popular sessions proven at previous shows, covering topics that will be of growing importance to forward-thinking independents. These include hybrid drive systems, how best to avoid diagnostic errors and dual mass flywheel technology.

Second time visitors will be guided towards the ‘Amber’ band, featuring new and updated training modules from industry experts including Andy Savva, whose session ‘A New Service Way’ will take a look at workshop efficiency with a view to increasing customer value and service levels.

For the core of attendees who have visited every show since it began three years ago, there is the ‘Red’ band. This is a more advanced programme covering subjects such as petrol direct injection systems and twin clutch technology.

Each session will be provided by ADS, an OESAA member or an approved partner, as the highly-skilled trainers they employ are uniquely positioned to deliver this level of training. The event will include live on-vehicle training, practical demonstrations and diagnostics throughout the weekend, as well as a range of open forums hosted by Pichler Tools, Sykes-Pickavant, Schaeffler and others.

Commenting on the show, OESAA Chairman Nigel Morgan said: “The enhancements to the format of this year’s Autoinform will make it much easier to cater to the high volume of delegates we are expecting to attend.” He added, “We are undoubtedly seeing the event growing through word of mouth; those that have been before are both recommending it to others or bringing colleagues, whilst returning themselves and it’s great that garages are beginning to appreciate the positive impact a unique training exhibition such as this can have on their business. We’ve worked hard with exhibitors to create a programme that will suit all visitors and enable garages to really maximise the value they gain from the time available.”

With single day tickets costing £99 + VAT and full weekend tickets costing from £175 + VAT are available. Those interested in attending are advised to book early as demand will be high. More information and online booking can be found on www.oe-suppliers.org
