Teamwork was the order of the day when a group of golfers from the Original Equipment Suppliers Aftermarket Association (OESAA) took part in the IAAF-BEN Company Team Golf Challenge helping to raise £555 for motor industry charity BEN.

Four players from members of OESAA, which promotes the benefits of fitting quality parts from original equipment (OE) suppliers took part. OESAA team member Jeff Earl, Marketing Manager, at Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket, said, “Although we did not manage to trouble the prize board, it was a great day out and more importantly we managed to raise funds for such a worthwhile charity as BEN.”

A similar team ethic is on display with OESAA programmes which are bringing together various OE part suppliers to promote a new innovative technical and hands-on training event for independent garages. AutoInform Live is an event organised in conjunction with the UK’s leading technical trainer Frank Massey and aims to provide visitors with a ‘Hear it, See it and Touch it’ experience.

The interactive weekend event is being held on November 29th and 30th at the state-of-the-art GTG Training Academy in Wolverhampton where exhibitors will be able to carry out detailed, hands-on training on live-running vehicles up on ramps.

OESAA hopes to welcome many Irish visitors over the weekend with the location easy to reach via ferry or Birmingham Airport. Forward thinking independent workshop operators who wish to attend can find out more by calling 0044-1772-201597 or visiting www.autoinform.co.uk
