It was standing room only, at the recent Vehicle Repairers Association (VRA) meeting for the North East held in Dundalk.
Repairers from counties Louth, Monaghan and areas of Cavan attended the meeting in their numbers, to find out more about the independent body repairers organisation and to voice their views on the future of the industry.
Sean McCarthy, one of the founders of the VRA in Co. Mayo commented, “We were absolutely delighted with the turn out by repairers in the North East.” He added, “I think it shows the strength of feeling currently running through the industry, on issues such as environmental compliance enforcement and the growing influence of insurance companies.”
The VRA says it will now build on this support to establish a local network of VRA member repairers in the North East. Sean also called on any repairers who could not attend the meeting, to contact the organisation to discuss membership.
