With many diesel cars on the road requiring periodic Diesel Particulate

Filter (DPF) regeneration, it’s essential that glow plugs are in good working order. When glow plugs are weak or have failed completely, they must be replaced.

Due to the small clearance between the glow plug and the cylinder head, it is quite common for the glow plug tip to break off when removing the plug. To help mechanics make the job of removing broken glow plugs tips easier, A.D.S is now stocking a Pichler master glow plug tip removal tool kit (part No. 90417900).

The master kit can remove the plug tip without the need for cylinder head removal. The kit is designed for removing glow plug tips when the glow plug screws out and leaves the tip behind. The kit is suitable for 8mm and 10mm glow plugs with 3 different size drill bits and tip removal attachments M2.5, M3 & M4.

More information can be found on www.ryansautomotive.ie or call A.D.S on 051-424-799.
