St Margarets Recycling has introduced a new service for garages and bodyshops in the Dublin area.

The company will deliver a free parts recycling bin to a workshop premises and leave it for the collection of metal parts and panels. The convenient 1,100 litre bin is on castor wheels and has a sturdy cover for safety and protection.

When the recycling bin is close to full, the garage or bodyshop simply calls St Margarets and the bin will be collected. What will be particularly appealing to motor trade businesses is that when the bin is collected it is weighed and the business will be paid a competitive rate, according to the weight of the metal in contains. Payment is agreed and made by the driver on the spot, so the business gets an immediate boost to cash flow.

When the full bin is collected a replacement can be left in its place and the cycle can start again. Brian McDonnell of St.Margarets Recycling says, “This a great way for garages and bodyshops to recycle, reduce waste and get an additional source of revenue.” He added, “It has been very well received by all the businesses we have approached, with the vast majority taking a bin and utilising the service.”

Brian says that as well as a bin for metal parts, St.Margaret's can also supply a similar bin for recycling batteries. The St Margarets Recycling Centre is a fully certified and all collection vehicles have waste permits. The company also deals in all end of life vehicles.
