As part of its continued development as a first fit battery supplier, the Banner Battery Company has begun to deliver its AGM starter batteries to the premium car-maker Porsche.

Speaking about this important addition to its OE supply portfolio, Andreas Bawart, Banner’s Commercial CEO, commented, “We are proud of the fact that we have obtained Porsche as a new customer. The Banner brand will certainly gain additional status through this partnership.”
In practical terms 70Ah, 80Ah und 95Ah performance class batteries are being delivered to the Porsche production plant in Zuffenhausen for the 911 series. Banner is also providing Running Bull AGM batteries to VW Osnabrück (the former Karmann), where the Porsche Cabrio, Boxster and Cayman models are manufactured.

These new supply agreements reflect the fact that a growing number of automotive producers are turning to Banner batteries for first fitting. These companies include names such as Audi, BMW, Caterpillar, Dethleffs, Jungheinrich, Kässbohrer, Liebherr, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Skoda, Volvo and VW, as well as many special machinery manufacturers. Banner says that the high quality and performance that a growing number of vehicle manufacturers are relying on is also available in the complete Banner range of aftermarket batteries.

Banner batteries are distributed in Ireland by Europower. For more information call 01- 830-0884 or visit www.europower.ie.
