In the advertising world the family car is traditionally promoted with a model family of two attractive adults and 2.4 angel like children. So Renault has not just broken the mould but smashed it into tiny pieces with its decision to use a somewhat untypical family in its latest campaign, the Simpsons. The new TV ads show Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie leaving Springfield and exploring the real world in a Renault Kangoo.
As you might expect the world most famous cartoon family put the car through some serious tests on route. The ad finishes with the message ‘New Renault Kangoo, the ultimate family car, can take anything – even the ultimate family - the Simpsons.
