SsangYong Motors have been named official sponsors of the ‘Ride Out For Prems 2014′ charity motorcycle tour.

The four day 1200KM motorcycle tour of Ireland will kick off on April 24th. Over 30 motorcyclists joined by a fleet of SsangYong people carriers, cross-overs and 4x4s will travel over 1200KM to raise funds to purchase life-saving equipment for prematurely born babies.

So far, more than €100,000 has been raised for life-saving equipment which will be donated to 11 hospitals around Ireland. Speaking at the launch of the initiative, Head of Marketing & Communications at SsangYong Motors Ireland commented, ‘We are delighted to lend our range of people carriers and family cars to this worthy cause.

The equipment that will be purchased as a result of this tour will ensure thousands of young lives are saved in many of the areas where our dealers serve such as Dublin, Limerick, Mayo, Cork, Waterford and Louth so it provides us with a unique opportunity to give something back to the local communities.
