Hazardous waste has become a big cost issue for body shops. The costs can include the cost of barrels, the cost of the collection itself and then all the traceability measures and paperwork which all add up. Soltec are working with their body shop customers to try to minimize these costs.

Following the popularity of their HazBag product, they now have a newly developed product called the “HazBox”. This is a free-standing box which can hold any dry solid Hazardous waste material – including metal such as crushed paint cans.  It holds 1,000 ltrs - the equivalent of 5 barrels with just one charge including delivery and cost of collection.
