Sealey Tools has introduced a patented, time-saving Brake Pad Thickness Gauge.

Sealey says that the gauge, Part Number VS058, which is small enough to slip into an overall pocket, can measure the thickness of all regular 6mm lined brake pads without having to remove the road wheel.

Thanks to its slim design, the VS058 is able to locate the rear of the pad backing plate, allowing the probe to measure the distance between the underside of the backing plate and brake disc. Suitable for both internal and external brake pads, it features a 1.5mm and calibration check marking.
