Soltec fillers a firm favourite with Irish bodyshops

Four years ago Soltec first introduced its range of body fillers on to the Irish market. At the time the company set out to offer fillers that could lead the market in terms of product performance and value for money and the range has not disappointed.

Soltec MD Michael Corcoran says, “Before we introduced our filler range, we carefully researched the market and carried out rigours tests, to ensure that our products were especially well tuned to the needs of Irish bodyshops, in terms of operating environment and finishing techniques. The positive feedback we have got from our customers, together with the growing success of the range shows we got this right. Bodyshops that use them really like these products and once they see the benefits they keep coming back for more.”

The range of fillers available includes a light and ultra lightweight formulation, together with a fibreglass filler. Each has been formulated to out-perform major competitors in a number of key areas. This includes ensuring the ideal consistency and ease of spreadability which makes for quicker and easier mixing and application. In turn this reduces pin holing during the filling process.

All of the fillers are fast curing, which together with excellent sanding properties allows for a significant reduction in over all repair time, thus boosting job profitability.
