Official sales figures from SIMI reveal that SsangYong sales have already  increased over 400% since 2013, largely down to their Rexton W which has proven very popular with businesses.

The Rexton W is available in two seat commercial, five seat commercial and seven seat passenger versions, with the five seat commercial option proving most popular.

"SsangYong have a strong pedigree of 4x4s and cut their teeth building off roaders for the American Army in 1954," commented Eoin Mulvihill, Head of Marketing and Communications at SssangYong Motors Ireland. "‘So it’ no surprise that the latest rendition of the Rexton W has proven popular due to it’s exceptional off road capabilities and very powerful low range capabilities. Add a price tag that is up to €17,000 cheaper than its competitors and it becomes a no brainer for businesses,"he concluded

Eoin also cited the advanced safety features such ABS brakes as a pulling factor for businesses who wanted to ensure staff and cargo were safe on the roads. The Rexton W comes in automatic and manual versions and prices start from €34,320  including VAT.
