Just two years after he set up his own vehicle recovery operation, Sam Burke of Burke Brother Recovery in Wolverhampton, has just bought his first brand new truck. This is something that might not seem remarkable, until you realise that Sam is still only 18.

The successful young businessman recently collected his Hydraloader 3000La (Low approach) aluminium slidebed, from specialist bodybuilder Roger Dyson and is delighted with his new acquisition.

Sam founded Burke Bros Recovery when he left school at 16, fulfilling an ambition he had held since he was just 12. Even in his school years, he always had an element of entrepreneurial flair and was able to buy his first truck for cash when he left school. His latest vehicle from Dyson is a further investment in his future and he expects it to provide him with a handsome return. He said “I’m really pleased with the truck, the lightweight aluminium deck means it has an excellent payload while it’s also eligible to operate within the London Low Emission Zone.”

Sam says his choice of Dyson equipment was mainly based on experience with second hand trucks. He comments, “I’ve had four used vehicles in all and can honestly say that the one fitted with Roger Dyson’s equipment has been more reliable, and caused me less hassle than any of the others.”
