The first 10 dealers to sell the newly relaunched Chevrolet brand across Ireland have been named, following the decision to distribute the vehicles directly through Chevrolet UK and Ireland ((formerly Chevrolet UK).

The sites approved to sell Chevrolet cars at the time of the brand's launch are:

Clonee Motor Centre, Clonee
Ennis Road Motors, Limerick
FM Autocentre, Carlow
Hinchy's Garage, Knocklong
Randles Brothers, Tralee
Waterford Motor Village, Waterford
Windsor Airside Airside, Swords
Windsor Deansgrange, Deansgrange
Windsor Bray, Bray
Windsor Galway,  Galway

All of the above are existing Chevrolet dealers, who have transitioned from the private importer that previously brought Chevrolet cars into Ireland.

Commenting on the appointments, Chevrolet UK and Ireland Managing Director, Mark Terry, said: "It gives me great pleasure to name our start-up network, and to thank them for showing tremendous support and enthusiasm for the Chevrolet brand during the launch of Chevrolet Ireland and the transition from the former importer. They are clearly very loyal supporters of our iconic brand, and can see the great opportunities that it brings to them in terms of both new car sales and aftersales.

"We have worked hard to ensure that we appoint the dealers that will work most effectively with us to grow and develop the Chevrolet name across Ireland, and look forward to naming further additions to our dealer network over the coming months."

The new Chevrolet product range for Ireland was unveiled to the media at an event in Co. Wicklow, on Monday May 21. The company is also in the process of recruiting an Irish Country Manager, details of whom will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
