A new survey of driving habits, commissioned by Autoglass, has found that 70% of motorists admit to poor driving, while almost everyone on the road has come across poor driving from other motorists.


The survey of 3,000 motorists also asked drivers why they had driven badly. The top ten most common excuses for poor driving were:
1) Tiredness
2) Rushing due to lateness
3) Frustration with bad driving
4) Exhaustion
5) Nervousness on the roads
6) Road rage
7) Hangover
8) Feeling grumpy
9) Rowing with a partner
10) Boredom
