Topaz Energy, which bought out more than 300 Shell and Statoil filling stations in 2005 and 2006, is to re-brand them as part of a €50m investment programme. The re-brand will see the removal of the iconic Shell and Statoil service station brands from the Irish marketplace, ending a 106-year Shell presence on Irish forecourts. Topaz says the move will create 400 new jobs.
