Toyota Ireland – supporting Irish Bodyshops
Share:

Toyota is one vehicle manufacturer that has fully recognised the importance of the bodyshop sector in Ireland, something that was reflected by the Toyota approved Body & Paint Centre Programme event that was held in Athlone over the summer. 24 Toyota approved Body & Paint centre repairers received, official recognition at the event and the network will expand further in the months to come. However, Toyota also offers first class to support to the many independent bodyshops outside the programme who are repairing Toyotas on a regular basis.

Toyota is the best selling manufacturer in Ireland this year and has been the top selling car brand in Ireland since 2020. Before that it has been consistently a top selling brand for decades. This, coupled with the fact that Toyota vehicles are built to last, means that in terms of vehicle volume, Toyota offers the most potential to individual bodyshops.

Toyota dealers can offer all level of repairers excellent support when it comes to Toyota accident repairs. A prime example of this is the Write-Off Avoidance Programme. This is designed to keep marginal uneconomical repairs on the road, by providing added discounts to allow a repair to be completed. This not only boosts bodyshop business but also saves Toyota drivers time, money and inconvenience.

Toyota dealers can also provide prompt access and delivery on all genuine Toyota parts and panels. Toyota has been able to maintain excellent stock availability to ensure minimal workflow delays, through ensuring no key parts are delayed, saving on car hire and storage costs, as well as meaning greater customer satisfaction. Importantly, Toyota dealers also have excellent access to parts for older Toyota models.

As an added bonus Toyota dealer parts departments have knowledgeable and experienced staff who can quickly identify the correct parts for a job and ensure that a bodyshop receives all the necessary supplementary parts and fittings required to complete the repair without delay. They can also offer access to Toyota approved repair methods where required and Toyota Ireland can also provide body repair technicians with access to training programmes.

For more information on Toyota accident repair parts and the Write-Off Avoidance Programme, repairers should contact their local Toyota Dealer Parts Department, from the 46 strong nationwide Toyota dealer network.
