The dates and venue for Autoinform LIVE 2020 have been confirmed as Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th, September at the National Show Centre, just minutes from Dublin Airport. The weekend promises to be Ireland’s largest ever automotive training event and will provide independent garages with practical knowhow on common vehicle repair and diagnostic issues, business boosting ideas and a fascinating insight into technology featured on the latest cars.   


Autoinform LIVE 2019 took place in Cork and attracted garage owners and technicians from right across the county. They all left enthused by what they had seen and have since been able to apply their new skills and knowledge to the benefit of their business. 

The 2020 event promises to be even bigger and better. It will bring together a diverse line-up of aftermarket experts from across Europe, including many new presenters with fresh subject matter, who will provide practical demonstrations and information on how to tackling repair and diagnostic issues, insights into how to deal with fast changing vehicle technology and ideas on how to boost workshop efficiency and attract and retain new business. Training modules are delivered in a relaxed atmosphere by trainers from OE aftermarket suppliers who have an in depth understanding of the garage business and the challenges it faces.  

Trainers and companies confirmed for the event so far include; Frank Massey, Schaeffler- INA, FAG & LUK, ZF SACHS, Denso, Banner Batteries, Hella and David Massey, with many more to be announced. They will cover diverse subjects including; AC systems, double clutch technology, thermal management, developments in timing belts and wheel bearings, changes in battery technology, high voltage pathways, auto transmission servicing, diagnostic trouble shouting, hybrid servicing and much more.

Also returning to Ireland will be the highly respected and popular automotive trainer James Dillon who will be focusing on developments in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and the implications for the aftermarket. James says, “The session will include hands-on demonstrations of ADAS systems (radar, camera and LiDAR systems) as well as an overview of Artificial Intelligence  and Machine Learning. It will also cover both static and dynamic calibration, which will be required after both mechanical repairs and accident damage and different calibration set-ups. If you’ve heard about ADAS and autonomous systems and want to know more, this is the session for you.”
