Volkswagen Ireland announced it will be the official motor partner of the IRFU. The new deal means that Volkswagen will become title motor partner for the Irish rugby team until 2016.

This partnership complements Volkswagen’s existing relationship with Leinster Rugby. The partnership also includes supporting the IRFU tag rugby programme, which alongside Volkswagen’s Leinster rugby summer camps highlights Volkswagen’s commitment to supporting Irish rugby.  

As rugby reaches fever pitch this month, Volkswagen will host a series of breakfast road shows prior to the games within various Volkswagen retailers across the country. These unique events will give Volkswagen customers the chance to watch the games with selected rugby heroes. The breakfast road show will also include a competition, where Volkswagen customers will be in with the chance to bring five friends to an upcoming match involving one of Volkswagen’s brand ambassadors.
