Dayco has introduced QR codes on its packaging. It means that any Dayco timing belt kit that is subject to a technical bulletin, now comes with a QR Code on the box. With this code, users of mobile devices with SMART technology can connect directly to the relevant technical bulletin for the application. This innovation means that vital information that is crucial to the correct installation of the components in the kit is readily available in multiple formats.
As a leading OE supplier Dayco recognises the importance of bringing its aftermarket products to market quickly in order that the independent sector is able to compete at every level of the repair trade. As a result it has introduced 90 new references over the last two months alone. These additions include unique products such as Kit KTB764 for the C-Max, Fiesta VI, Focus II and Mondeo III. Dayco say this is the aftermarket’s only genuine like-for-like replacement for the OE product, because it’s only this kit that includes the HT belt.
Dayco also offer a unique Long Life + 1 year warranty which is free of charge to the factor, workshop and motorist. This extends the warranty on the belt in a Dayco HT belt kit from the existing two years, to a market leading three-year term.
All Dayco technical bulletins are now live on MAM Autocat for the convenience of motor factors. Through the system, they can now also link to product images, cross referencing and drive layouts, which all contributes to ensuring that the right application and installation are made.
