Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket has announced a programme of major new additions to its INA range of belt drive components. The new additions mean that so far this year an additional two million vehicles are being serviced by the INA brand.
A new auxiliary belt tensioner has been introduced for more than 204,000 vehicles including the Nissan Kubistar, Renault Clio, Kangoo and Twingo 1.1, 1.2, 1.2 16v 2001-, while there are others for more than 41,000 vehicles including the PSA C4, C4 Picasso, Grand Picasso, C5, C8, Dispatch, 307, 407,and Expert 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2005-, and for nearly 87,000 vehicles including the Ford Transit and PSA Relay, Ducato, and Boxer 2.2 HDi, TDCi, 2005-.
Also introduced is a timing belt deflection pulley that services more than 146,000 vehicles including a raft of Volkswagens such as the Amorak, Caddy III and Transporter 1.6TDi, 2.0TDi, 2008-, and a timing belt kit that fits vehicles including the Ford/Mazda Ranger 2.0D/TD, TDi and B Series 2.5D, 2.5TD 1999-.
Malcolm Short, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket (UK) Ltd Technical Services Manager, said: “The INA range has grown significantly this year. It is particularly pleasing that there are a host of new INA part numbers that cover a wide range of LCVs.” He added, “We are always particularly mindful of the requirement to cater for working vehicles such as these and to make sure that INA parts are readily available in the aftermarket to keep them on the road.”
