Audi Ireland is delighted to announce a new strategic partnership with the Department of Foreign Affairs for the Irish Presidency of the Council of European Union 2013. The Audi A6 has been agreed as the official car for the duration of the six month Presidency, starting from 1st of January 2013.

All vehicles supplied by Audi Ireland will be used for hotel-to-airport travel at the eleven ministerial level meetings, which will take place in Ireland throughout the Irish Presidency. This partnership follows similar European agreements, as AUDI AG has been the sole official supplier of transport for 7 of the last 11 EU Presidencies throughout Europe.

Andrew Doyle, managing director of Audi Ireland commented: "We are delighted to be partner for the upcoming EU Presidency as Ireland undertakes the role for the seventh time. This term will be hugely important for the country and we are confident our world-class A6 saloons will deliver the necessary support during this term."
