Motorcheck.ie, in association with Renault Ireland has launched Carculator.ie, an innovative website that gives users the ability to estimate the running costs of their current car for comparison against an equivalent model in Renault’s 2013 product range.

Renault’s range of new Clio, Mégane and Fluence are some of the most economical cars on the market and Carculator.ie gives people the chance to see just how affordable and desirable their models can be compared to their current car.

Carculator.ie is a fun and easy-to-use website that takes your current car and, together with your annual mileage estimates its running costs for 2013. Simple, and to the point.

Tax, fuel, routine servicing, tyre costs, repairs and NCT costs are all calculated for you in one place so that you can see just how much your current motor is costing you.

Carculator.ie then gives you some options from the new Renault range and shows you how you can save money per annum, including lowest tax rates, lower fuel costs, warranty included and low servicing costs. Calculating the cost of ownership makes for some interesting reading for car owners.

Carculator.ie forms the backbone of a national TV and Radio campaign that begins this week.
